Google has made their online game service free for 2 months to battle boredom in these weird times. You can try out several games without the need to buy them.

If you pay attention you can see that GRID is also on that list.
Can you just play these games directly? yes and no, If you want to play via PC then you can, but if you want to play on your tv, then you will need a chromecast ultra and a controller.
If you want to play Grid via pc for example, you can also just use your steering wheel and pedals. ;-).
